All about my work
I make vases from my own self learn method and techniques process is long and complicated with a lot of handwork but when I finish my peace it makes me happy and satisfied

MKS The Artist
I’m a self-thought artist I love exploring materials, colors, and compositions and making beautiful things. I especially like working with wood clay and epoxy, and I enjoy carving and creating abstract paintings and vases with my ideas, which have more meaning than words. Over several years, I developed my style of art I’ve always dreamed of making pottery, especially large vases, but due to work limitations, I couldn’t fully pursue this passion. However, air-dry clay and its versatility for sculpting, inspired me to start practicing, particularly with the coiling technique to achieve my goals. The biggest challenge for me has been glazing my vases and achieving that glossy, vibrant finish that traditional kiln-fired pottery has. After experimenting with various options, I found that epoxy resin works best for giving my vases a beautiful finish. Not only does it add rich, vibrant colors, but it also makes them stronger and more durable. Additionally, I can incorporate glow-in-the-dark materials, which is something traditional methods can’t achieve due to high firing temperatures. My vases are not only visually striking but also lightweight and much safer than conventional pottery. This makes them ideal for placement in offices, hotels, and homes with children, as they’re less likely to break. It takes me anywhere from 20 to 45 days to complete a vase, depending on its size, and I can create pieces that reach up to six feet or more in height, depending on specifications. I’m hopeful that people will enjoy the unique one-of-a-kind design, strength, and glow-in-the-dark features of my vases. Thank you for taking the time to appreciate my work! I use MKS as my artist identity. Thank you so much
